How beehiiv prices paid plans
beehiiv says “paid plans are priced by how many subscribers you have,” in subscriber tiers with an upper limit each. Its example: on Lite at the 10,000-subscriber tier, “I get Lite features and pay for up to 10,000 subscribers.” Check the price for your list size on beehiiv’s pricing page. beehiiv says yearly billing “saves up to 20% compared with paying month to month.”

What changed on October 1, 2026
- Plans renamed: Launch → Free, Scale → Lite, Max → Pro, Enterprise unchanged.
- New pricing for new customers from October 1, 2026.
- Existing customers: no change until the first renewal on or after November 1, 2026. Monthly customers get at least 30 days’ notice before the first bill at the new price; annual customers keep their price through the end of their current term.
- Existing discounts carry over, but beehiiv says discounts can’t be combined.
Costs beyond the plan price
beehiiv takes 0% of paid subscription and digital product revenue; Stripe’s standard 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction applies. Your plan price moves up a tier as your list grows; beehiiv suggests cleaning disengaged subscribers to stay on the right tier.
Is Lite worth it for a small business?
Lite makes sense if you’ll use automations, charge readers or run ads. If you only send a regular update to fewer than 2,500 people, Free covers it. Try beehiiv (affiliate link). Cheaper paid alternatives exist: Kit Creator is $33 a month billed yearly at 1,000 subscribers (kit.com/pricing).
