Privacy policy
Effective date: October 18, 2026 · Last updated: October 18, 2026
This policy explains, in plain English, what happens to your information when you read onesignaldesk.com. The short version: we don't ask for your personal information, we don't run ads, and we don't use analytics or tracking cookies.
Who we are
This site is run by OneSignalDesk, an independent AI and tech news desk. Questions or requests about privacy: [email protected].
What we collect
- No accounts and no forms. You can't sign up or log in, and no form on the site collects your details.
- No ads, no analytics, no tracking cookies. We don't run advertising, analytics scripts or tracking pixels, and we don't set cookies to track you.
- Email you send us. If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and keep it only as long as needed for that.
Hosting and security (Cloudflare)
The site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and request logs. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies. Cloudflare handles this data under its own privacy policy.
Cloudflare also hides email addresses on our pages from spam bots using a small script (email obfuscation). The script only decodes the address in your browser, and we don't use it to collect anything.
Affiliate links
Some articles may contain affiliate links. If you click one, the merchant or affiliate network may set its own cookies to track the referral, under its own privacy policy. We don't receive your personal information from them, only aggregated sales or commission reports. See our affiliate disclosure.
External links and embedded content
We link to sources and other sites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control. If we ever embed content from another site, such as a video or a post, that site may collect data when the embed loads, as if you visited it directly.
Newsletter (not yet open)
We plan to launch a weekly email newsletter. Before we collect any email address, we'll update this policy to say which email provider we use, what we collect, and how to unsubscribe.
Children
This site is written for adults running businesses and building software. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Your rights and requests
Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as the EU and UK GDPR or California's CCPA/CPRA may give you rights to access, correct or delete personal information about you, or to object to certain uses. We collect very little, usually just emails you send us, but you can make any of these requests by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond within the time the applicable law requires. We don't sell or share personal information for advertising. For data Cloudflare processes, see Cloudflare's policy linked above.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, for example when the newsletter launches, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top before the change takes effect. We'll also note significant changes on the homepage.
